Workshops, Book Week, Bookshop Day, the HB Arts Festival and a quick (business) trip to the big smoke: October is shaping up to be a busy month.
The highlight for me will be the workshop I'm teaching at Wardini Books in Havelock North. The focus is on editing and it's a hands-on event: pens, keyboards, brains and ears will be engaged, and I suspect a bit of laughter too.

I'm running a writing workshop for kids as well, at the Hastings Library, and will be in-store at Wardini Books on Bookshop Day, Saturday 31st October. The Arts Festival will bring a whole new level of excitement to Hawke's Bay. It's the inaugural event of its kind and there's so much packed into the programme it's hard to know how to fit it all in. More on that soon.
